Particles of Relics of Saints, and a particle of the wood of the Holy Cross on which Lord Jesus Christ was crucified, were brought to the Holy Monastery of Suruceni for veneration

“Wondrous is God in His saints”

Recently, with the blessing of H.E. Metropolitan Vladimir, Holy Shrine with 55 particles of relics of Saints and a particle of the wood of the Holy Cross on which Lord Christ was crucified, were brought to the Holy Great-Martyr George Monastery of Suruceni village, Ialoveni district.
The Shrine contains particles of relics of the following saints:

As a great blessing the monastic community received two little shrines with the relics of Holy Great-Martyr George, Holy Great-Martyr pantelimon, and Saint Great Hierarch Nicolas the Wonderworker and Saint Hierarch Nectarios of Aegina, and particles of relics of Saints from Roman catacombs.
The Shrines will remain permanently in the Holy Great-Martyr George Monastery of Suruceni, Ialoveni district.
These Holy Shrines were received with much piety by the entire monastic community and the pilgrims present at that moment in Suruceni Monastery.
The Monastery also preserves with much reverence particles of holy relics of Holy Martyrs Epictet and Astion, and a shrine with the right hand of Saint Antipa of Calapodesti.
All people who have love and zeal for God are welcome to revere the holy shrines.
